Weekend Links

a little snack break while playing on the square

It's the weekend! Yeah! We have had so much fun the past few days doing family stuff and hanging out with friends, so I thought I'd sneak away while Henry is napping (and before I take one too) and share some links and fun sites to check out.

This past week was good. Busy, but good. I hosted a playdate Friday morning, and then Amber came over for a bit. It's so nice having her home- even just being able to chat on the phone and knowing my good friend is just 5 minutes away makes me so happy. Then yesterday Erin also came up from Phoenix and that always means a few things: lots of Henry laughter (he loves her), lots of Hugo's (we always get it), and not a lot of sleep (we always stay up talking for hours). All of those things were checked right off the list.

On a side note did you know that I fell asleep at 8pm on the 4th of July? I had a cute evening planned, watching the fireworks with Hank from our front yard (we have the BEST view)...but instead I fell asleep, a book open on my stomach. Oops.

Anyway, whatever you had planned for the weekend, I hope it was wonderful (and you were able to stay up past 8pm).
